David Martin is the author of We've All Got Bellybuttons! illustrated by Randy Cecil, and Piggy and Dad Go Fishing, illustrated by Frank Remkiewicz, among other books. He lives in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.
D. W. MARTIN spends his days working in book publishing and his nights writing and performing comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City. Even though he has won seven Nobel Prizes, he is most proud of being the runner-up Employee of the Month in April 1997. His high school senior class voted him Most Likely to Write a Memo. How true!

To be "fair": I believe they listed the condition as "fair" and I would say it was "fair"ly thrashed. This is not to say it wasn't readable (it very much was - all was totally fine and the book served its purpose); however I the binding had definitely been put through a lawnmower before being sent...
