This book begin very nice and shows you the details on creating a storybook and writing an interface file. It also covers how make the screen controls available programmatically. The problem begins on page 115 when it says enter WKInterfaceController.openParentApplication. . . This does not work with Watch 2.0, the version that came out when the book was published. Spend a few minutes on Google and you learn that WKInterfaceController.openParentApplication is fully depreciated and removed from the watch kit API. I found solutions using Google, was looking for a quick reference guide, this book is not that.

I enjoyed the reading from there to the last chapter displaying ...

Well to be honest this is a review in progress. I started with fear that this books is already out of date in regards to the latest dev kit. After reading the other review here where the previous person said at page 115 things diverge from the newest Dev Kit , I thought well I'll read 1-114 pages. But I skipped straight to Chapter 5 , Displaying Notifications. I enjoyed the reading from there to the last chapter displaying Glances. Now I 'll go back to pages 1-114 and see how they are. So I'll add to my review again in the future . I am sure the author is working on the next version. It would be nice if he could chime in and at least say what chapters to flat out avoid if any.

Quantitative Risk Assessment in Fire Safety is essential reading for consultants, academics, fire safety engineers, fire officers, building control officers and students in fire safety engineering. Nice book for Matlab Graphics

I was able to purchase a pdf file directly from the publisher. I spent some time going over the graphics commands in the book to create my own personal quick reference. I am happy that I was able to get the information that suited my needs. If you are looking for a book that teaches you to work with the wealth of graphics commands in Matlab, then this is one of these books. The author does a good job in covering the diverse two and three dimensional graphics commands using short examples that hit the point. You need not read the entire book to benefit from the coverage of graphics commands. Instead you can zoom in the sections that present the commands for the graphs you intend to draw. The author also includes the family of ez-commands (like ezplot, ezsurf, and ezcontour to name a few) that help you to quick draw curves, surfaces, and contours using equations instead of vectors of data points. He also lists summaries of the commands by categories. I found that to be very helpful. You can invoke the commands directly from the history window or you can place the commands in Matlab scripts and functions. I recommend this book for new Matlab programmers and users that want to draw nice looking graphs that can enhance their reports and presentations.

An outstanding textbook

Ronald Glossop's "Confronting War: An Examination of Humanity's Most Pressing Problem," is an outstanding textbook. The author divides the text into four parts; Introduction to the War Problem; Causes of War; The Contemporary Situation; and Proposals for Solving the War Problem. Part one is a conceptual and historical framework of war; part two probes the cause of war and examines mainstream views and values of war; part three is a strong inspection of the military and institutional behavior of war; and part four is an analysis of reforms.
Professor Glossop correctly opens the narrative in part one with a succinct but powerful message, "War is about power and the use of physical violence to determine which party in a conflict will prevail." From this starting point onwards the author presents a sophisticated array of information certain to aid the war discovery process. Overall, this book is well researched and expertly written. Moreover, the notes and bibliography are superb. In conclusion, this textbook is a valuable asset for those who believe in the serious practice of conflict resolution.

Like Tor, you can quite easily give away your geographical location if you are not careful. Geographical spellings like "colour" and "labour" can reveal that you are either in the UK or Canada. This is mostly a problem only in conjunction with other leaks of personal information, such as a list of your favorite sports team or local restaurant. Node Reference: If you give anyone your node reference, they can link your IP address with your nick and reveal your true identity. You should only reveal this to sources that you trust 100%, such as those on your friends list. There are a multitude of places online where you can synchronize your system time. The default tray icon in windows is insufficient in this regard. Restart your pc, then hit "delete" to see what timestamp your system is really relaying to the world."

Helpful Book!

In the last two weeks, I bought this book and Darknet. This is a really helpful book. Between Anonymous File Sharing & Darknet - How to be a Ghost in the Machineand Darknet: A Beginner's Guide to Staying Anonymous I think I pretty much know what I need to know to sneak around. I recommend them all!! Lance Henderson books are definitely worth the money! Thanks!
